History
In 1999, Steven M. Burr founded BCS Energy Services as a boutique oil and gas reserve evaluation and petroleum engineering consulting firm located in Dallas, Texas. Utilizing over 35 years of reserve evaluation experience in most of the producing basins in the United States and Canda plus extensive international experience, Mr. Burr and his associates provide their clients with a complete range of petroleum consulting services and capabilities.

Bradford-McKown Academic Scholarship
The Bradford-McKown Academic Scholarship is sponsored by BCS Energy Services, LLC to honor two women, Maxine Bradford and Lonnie McKown, that believed education is the path to improving one’s life and being able to give back to others. We are looking for two individuals that are pursuing their undergraduate education in any discipline that have similar values and a strong desire to make an impact on those around them through leadership, service and being actively involved in the lives of others. The attached scholarship application should be completed and returned to BCS Energy Services, LLC by e-mail to steve@highlandtxenergy.com, by express courier or by USPS mail by October 1, 2022. The semi-annual scholarship will be awarded on October 15, 2022 and April 15, 2023 for the 2022-2023 school year.
